Starlight Express heart-throb Drue Williams plans to roller-skate to success with his new band Sub-Culture.

Drue's nightly performance in the Andrew Lloyd Webber spectacular attracts armies of female fans, and he keeps his fan mail in a large suitcase before individually replying to each.

The George Michael look-alike has teamed up with pals Garry Oldfield and Sunil Sundra to record an album and the band plan to tour next year.

Drue joined the Starlight Express show when it opened three years ago, and plays the part of macho steam-train Greaseball.
