In the autumn of 2004 a fleet of identical 72 foot yachts will
leave the British port of Portsmouth for a ten month long round-the-world
race, known as the Global Challenge 2004-5.
Follow my progress, as a Crew Volunteer for team BG SPIRIT
in The World's Toughest Yacht Race, from the initial training,
to rounding the notorious Cape Horn, to finishing the race back
in Portsmouth in the summer of 2005.
